End of week sonnet about living arrangements. @DwiTrevor
I sleep in a room with a quartz heater
That's here to keep it seventy degrees
Because otherwise I'd completely freeze,
Especially now that it's in winter.
For sure my hands would ice up and splinter.
The heater releases a warming breeze,
Pale remnant compared to Florida keys,
Good for Canadian basement dweller.
The white mattress is still a little cold
As infrared heats surfaces, not space.
The wiring especially is too old
For breaker keeps breaking in breaker case.
But in summation when all things are told,
I`d rather be here than outside someplace.
